NO WAY, cars are only ever considered a write off when the value of the repairs exceeds the value of the car or if its not worth doing i.e old car with no value.

With the cost of repairs these days it's quite easy to write off many cars.

That could be borderline. It just depends on how much damage is done to that front chassis leg. It is a bit chewed up.

Black side strips so one of the older models. I'd guess at a value of around £8k? That looks easily like £8k's worth of damage at a decent body shop, IMHO.

hey...yeah everybody's fine :)

they have written it off :(

nope I can't sell the alloys, they were declared but apparently they won't pay out for them so i'm trying to get it sorted cos they also won't let me take them off unless i replace them with the standard nimrod alloys :evil:

strating to do my head in a bit, 2 weeks on and i'm no nearewr to knowing whats happening, only found out today that its a total loss :(
