NO WAY, cars are only ever considered a write off when the value of the repairs exceeds the value of the car or if its not worth doing i.e old car with no value.

nope I can't sell the alloys, they were declared but apparently they won't pay out for them so i'm trying to get it sorted cos they also won't let me take them off unless i replace them with the standard nimrod alloys
strating to do my head in a bit, 2 weeks on and i'm no nearewr to knowing whats happening, only found out today that its a total loss
