what engine is that? It's not an EW is it? That inlet manifold isn't from an EW engine and the oil filter sits vertically on one too...

Where does the intercooler plumb in? Have you got anti-lag?

the intercooler sits at the front like any normal turbo setup. anti lag is direct ported NOS into the turbo itself.lol

teh rest of the cc is coming along....the engine bay is now painted.....thought i showed you all. if not here it is.....

I wish it was finished beleive me. it should be finished by november sometime. the actual bodywork is complete just been waiting to get it painted and then put back together, the engine is nearly finished....about 3 weeks to on that. so fingers crosed it will be rolling by mid/end of november.

I may be moving to america this year so poss wont even get to use it as it will have to be sold.

Explain the direct-ported NOS=anti-lag. My understanding is that for anti-lag, you retard the spark on overrun to such an extent that you cause an explosion upstream of the turbo which drives the blades around (hence no need for a dump valve). But generally you will eat the turbo in <100 miles unless you have a pukka titanium WRC spec one.

I know I said this before, but I've been watching "American Hotrod" and for the same money you could have got Boyd Coddington to build you a proper one-off (driven from the correct end, and with the proper power -- V8 ). Maybe the next project if you move to the USA?

Its being direct ported into the turbo unit itself which will spin the turbo faster hence less lag on take off.

I watch that too. my next projects are a 64 1/2 mustang and a Hummer H2 SUT whihc should be real fun!!

I must ask this. Is anti lag really needed on what is a 206cc at the end of the day???
