hi peeps, thought Id show you my engine pic when it was built for 300 horses but as you all know its now being done for 370 horses so will look slightly different. hopefully will get some pics of the new build tomorrow night.

So what does everyone think of the old/new engine then...looked nice didnt it. ive been told the new one will look slightly different...bigger turbo etc

I wish it was finished beleive me. it should be finished by november sometime. the actual bodywork is complete just been waiting to get it painted and then put back together, the engine is nearly finished....about 3 weeks to on that. so fingers crosed it will be rolling by mid/end of november.
I may be moving to america this year so poss wont even get to use it as it will have to be sold.

Explain the direct-ported NOS=anti-lag. My understanding is that for anti-lag, you retard the spark on overrun to such an extent that you cause an explosion upstream of the turbo which drives the blades around (hence no need for a dump valve). But generally you will eat the turbo in <100 miles unless you have a pukka titanium WRC spec one.
I know I said this before, but I've been watching "American Hotrod" and for the same money you could have got Boyd Coddington to build you a proper one-off (driven from the correct end, and with the proper power -- V8 ). Maybe the next project if you move to the USA?
