Thanks guys & gals,
I've had it in to the dealer for 4 things yesterday;
1) the seat, apparently it needs a new base frame because the memory thing is broken. That will take at least three weeks to arrive, by which time I'll be in spain,
2) Squeaky brakes, the brake pads were cleaned, the squeak stayed. I had a long argument with the service manager this morning, she insisted 'you just need to get the pads cleaned regularly'. I told her that it was squeaking as I drove away from the dealership, so by that rational regularly would be every bl**dy hour. They are going to put new pads on next week.
3) The oil sensor keeps lying to me. Apparently peugeot is aware of this problem, doesn't yet know how to fix it, but will issue a recall when it figures it out,
4) The plastic clip that holds the carpet down had popped out and got lost. They managed to fit a new one.
One (very easy) job out of four was done. Am I surprised...sadly no.
Thanks to the warranty being Europe-wide, I'll try to get the seat thing done in spain. I'll let you all know if Spanish dealerships are any better
Josh
