Well I have just had an e-mail from Renault about the Megane.

Strange how they have used one of my CC e-mails that I know they have had to lift from this site :lol: there is now other way they could have got it. Has anyone else been targeted - Lyndon perhaps ??

So anyway they have issued a release date of 19th September - OK Peugeot up to you now - when is the 307CC coming out.

Yes I agree but if I was going to get an evo I would not be wasting my time looking at and test driving a PEUGEOT 307>>>>> :shock: :shock:

I had Renault emailing me too, was it about you won the chance of going and test driving the megane at that house. sorry wasn't that interested so didnt read ita ll properly.

I got a phone call from them a couple of weeks ago... "you recently entered a Renault competition"... actually no, that was 3 years ago and I won a cheap watch! But anyway, they continued...

Renault: "you were going to buy a new car, did you?"
Me: yes

R: "Do you know what you bought?"
Me; err yes, I drive it every day :shock:

R: "What did you buy"
Me: a Pug 206cc

R: "Did you consider the megane cabrio"
Me: yes and I have three good reasons why i didn't buy one...
1. my last one was crap and no-one at renault gave a monkey's...
2. the pug has the rubber bumpers down the doors and the megane didn't (my last one got loads of trolley dents :evil: )
3. it's dog ugly.

R: "Oh fair enough, thanks for your time, I'll pass your comments on"
Me: so I haven't won one then? :D :D :D

yeah - got emailed from Renault too - have booked a test drive...am quite tempted by the all glass roof as standard....and also am tempted by the 1.9 diesel (may get more than the 4 miles per gallon I get from the cc!!!)

Will keep you all posted if I make an order...
