Hi all...

Im also looking to sell the original alloys that come with the 2.0se including tyres. The alloys are in excellent condition with no markings or scratches...will consider all offers...

Now then. There was an idea last time that people could club together and buy a (spare) wheel each.

Anyone interested?

As a guide, list price is around £110, tyres can be had for around £90 so we're talking £200 per wheel brand new from a supplier inc. VAT & fitting.

i'd say 300 quid for the lot is a reasonable price.

Actually, it's now £399 for the 4 wheels which would make them around £180-£190 new, with tyres.

£300 ish...u must b joking Stephen! I am willing to seriously consider offers in the region of £500. The alloys are unmarked and the tyres are also unmarked and more or less brand new!

but they wouldn't look any better than the originals and they would have far inferior tyres! but if its cheap you want then thats up to you.

Quite. I'm not sure where you're going to get 4 16" alloys plus 4 Goodyear Eagle F1s for £500.

£500 between 4 people means £125 for a decent full size spare wheel. As long as there's nothing wrong with the wheel and the tyre's reasonable I reckon that's a fair enough price.

The only slight problem I see is if you got a puncture on the wrong side of the car :P
