Hi all, just finished fitting timing belt and water pump and found the top engine mounting where it bolts to the body has come apart. Closer inspection appears that there is no access to retaining bolt/s.
Would it be safe to assume the part ( marked AL4) just sits in a rubber socket???
Any help greatly appreciated

I've never done this, but the Service Box drawings may help.

It does seem that the right side mount just sits in a cup. The left side is secured vertically by spindle and capscrew

Re: Top engine mount
Thank you IanL and gazza82 for your prompt reply. The part broken is displayed as no7 in the service box drawings. The rubber has separated into two parts however, like you say it does appear to sit in a cup. I will take pics of the offending part.
