How to find engine number

Hi how/where do you locate the engine number, I want to order and change the timing belt on a 1.6 CC but not sure which one to order. Thanks in advance.

Engine number is noted on V5

Don't have the v5 yet just bought the car, is there any other way to get it.

Yorkie that is the VIN number. The engine number is stamped into the engine block. c10ttn, you should only need the reg no to get the right belt kit. Your engine (1.6) is a tu5jp4 (NFU)
