Help!!! Car juddering in 1st & reverse gears?
Hi there, Im wondering if anyone can help me? ive recently had a new clutch and slave cylinder fitted to my 2001 206cc 2.0l, the only problem is the car now judders whenever i try to pull away in 1st gear or reverse. The car drives lovely and goes into every other gear just fine. Ive also found that if i go into higher revs in 1st gear the juddering eases but as you can imagine this can be very embarressing when at a junction and having to go over 2000 revs to stop the car from juddering. Can anyone help me please?!!

Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like clutch judder.
Who put the clutch in? Can you take it back under warranty?
Causes could be-
Broken/ loose engine mount or bolts.
Warped clutch plate or cover.
Oil contamination of clutch.
"Hard" spots on flywheel due to overheating.
or simply just cheap clutch fitted.

Re: Help!!! Car juddering in 1st & reverse gears?
I read your original post as if the problem has only been present since clutch replacement. I would expect at least a 12month warranty on a new clutch.
You now say you are down on power so it could be a missfire. Possibly faulty coil pack
