I'm sure you must be pushing it down fully
It has 2 settings if u push it lightly it will go up and down
If u push it harder till u feel a kind of click on the switch they go fully down

Re: elecric windows
I had this problem recently, they started to go down and even if i pulled the switch to go up they continued to go down. My switch worked on the 2 setting so back didn’t go down as well if I didn’t press the switch all the way. BUT, with the driver’s window down, I would pull switch up and it would send the back one down. Then both wouldn’t come up, took few minutes, I could hear something from the back (like a motor/clicking) when I pulled the switch they came up after 5 mins (no exaggeration) or switching the engine off and on they came up.
Tested with the roof going down and the windows behaved as normal.
NOW - it seems to of rectified itself and its working as normal

I hardly use my window, I don’t smoke but it was annoying when going to drive-thru's or collecting tickets on entry at NCP's or Dartford toll bridge lol
