She`s only had the car for about 4 months, & when she puts the roof either up or down, the windows dont automatically open/close as they should (I`ve never actually witnessed the car do this, & can`t get to the car until next weekend at the earliest, so I only know what she`s told me).
Now, from reading various posts on here, I believe it to be either worn wiring by the boot hinge, or a dodgy micro switch, but the odd thing is that it only ever happens when the weather is cold, when it`s warm, everything is normal.
I`m deffinately leaning towards an iffy micro switch, but which one actually controls the windows, as from looking at the micro switch location diagram, it doesn`t actually mention the windows?
Am I heading in the wrong direction with this assumption, & if I am, could anyone kindly point me in the right direction?
I do all my own servicing & maintenance work (used to work in a Ford dealership a few years ago), but don`t know my way around a 206.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks, Fred.
