Twin Front Angel Eyes - Bulbs keep blowing

Hi
I have had the Twin Black Angel Eyes on the front of my car now for about 7 months. Every month or so, either one of the main headlight bulbs blows. I can't work out why this is. The full beam on the same bulb still works though. Anyone else had this problem and possible causes/solutions?
