Well I have finally joined the ranks of ex-cc'ers. Handed the 206cc into Mercedes as Part Exchange against me SLK!

But to look on the bright side I'm flying out to Germany to the Mercedes factory on Sunday to collect the SLK!! Cant wait!

hehe yup Derek, it's not what it used to be in many ways...

can't say I've had much support, interest or even tolerance of driving a cc

As you say it's nothing to what it used to be.

They appear to have deleted my user name that I had for nearly 4 years. Very childish but that's over moderation for you. :D

Don't worry about it, there has 'always' been a jealous feeling towards CC's.

There's too many that feel they are only a man if they drive a Pug 205 1.1XL and a CC is for a woman

Unfortunately this means you'll now have to deal with Mercedes dealers :(

I havent had any problems with Mercedes, except that they seem to do things very slowly.

I've just got back from Germany after collecting the SLK and driving it back through, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and the Channel Tunnel.

We've had some awful weather thrown at us, snow, hailstones, rain, we got lost a few times in the cities as well, but none of that mattered. I have my SLK.....................Shes wonderful. I havent taken any pics yet due to the weather but I will as soon as we have a sunny day.
