Hello from a 205 RAllye owner TU5J4P

Hi guys:-)

I am a peugeot 205 Rallye owner. The car has a 1294 cc engine and about 115bhp.



I would be grateful if you could give me some information about 206 engines.

Does anyone know if the TU5 engine that comes in a 206 has domed pistons? I think it does since I saw a picture a long time ago. Does anyone have a picture?

The reason is I am building a hybrid engine based of a TU24 1294cc head and a TU5j4 block. But I am finding some compression ratio problems and think that using a 206 block may solve teh problems.

Does anyone have a picture of the pistons? or Even measured the cc of the raised piston crowns??

Nice car. The 205 is a classic and non GTI 205's models are totally underrated.

Unfortunately I would be surprised if you get a response to your question, as we are mostly hairdressers on this site!

Ahh so you have one also. Temperamental leaky things do you not find, but great fun once you’re inside with the top down. A wife that is.
