Hi,

Yesterday I left a deposit on a 206 cc [1.6, 2001]- due to pick it up next weekend. However, some members of another forum I'm a member of [a teachers one] have flagged up the possibility of problems if the car has not had its 'recalls'.

I've done a search on peugeot recalls but haven't come up with anything which would apply to this model.

Is there anything I should be worried about concerning recalls?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry - just realised this was my first post here. I should introduce myself.

I have wanted a 206 cc for a while, but have been put off by the cost. However, my beloved Tigra 'died' a couple of weeks ago, and frustration over the time its taking to get it sorted has spurned me on a bit.

Yesterday, I bought a moonstone 2001 pug, and its a beauty. I get to pick it up next weekend. I haven't told my family, so it will be a bit of a surprise to them.

I'm a teacher, and live in the west midlands. Apart from the kids that I teach, my main interests are my computer, my car, and my dog - ben, who is a boxer with a full tail!!! He just loves travelling in the car, and I can't wait til the summer when he will love riding with the top down, wearing his 'doggles' [speciall speed goggles for dogs, from America]. He's not too keen on them, having eaten his first pair, but I gess he'll appreciate them more in a flop top. [thats what we call convertibles in our house]

Looking forward to getting my car, and sharing stuff with you lot.

love imp

think there was a recall a few years back, nothing serious, yours should have it done anyway :)

As a matter of course Pug dealers check the database when a car is in for servicing to see if any recalls haven't been done, therefore if it has been serviced by a Pug dealer all should be hunky dory.

Welcome to the group, and above all enjoy your new motor.

Thanks. That is reassuring.
