I'm selling the car due to now being able to afford insurance on a Golf GTi, as i'm craving a little more speed!
The car needs to be sold so sensible offers will be considered
i do like the MG ZR's, fancied one when they first appeared on the scene! would depend on which model it is and how much money you would want though. also, depreciation in the future would be an issue due to rover's recent demise and the uncertainty of MG.
i would always consider doing a swap, just depends what the car is and the money invloved. i'v wanted a golf gti for a long time now tho, and im looking at getting a mk3 16valve, so would have to be something good to sway me from this!
The ZR is a 54 plate facelift model with just under 7k miles. It's the 105 model with the Rallye II kit which includes side sills, rear bumper extensions and upgrade to 17" straights alloys. It also has the rear spolier.
Quick spec of car is:
Pearlescent Ignition Blue
Half leather Interior
Anti Lock Brakes with EBFD
Kenwood CD Player
Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm as standard
Electric Front Windows
Fully Colour Coded as standard
I am selling the car as I also own a 350Z Roadster and need to free up some cash as I am in the market to buy a new house which isn't going to be cheap.
I am looking for £7495 for the car which is nearly £4k below list price, it's only 6 months old and taxed to end April 2006.
Depreciation due to the demise of Rover has been minimal on similar models and it's 75/ZT that is taking the biggest hit. Prices of ZR models (new and used) round where I live are still more or less the same as they were before Rover hit problems.
Parts are not and won't be an issue due to demand and they are also supplied by a company called X Part (owned by Caterpillar) as Roversold their parts division off about 2 years ago.
