My girlfriend has just got a brand new Megane cc, lovely car! You can tell how much the roof designers have come on since our little baby! The roof if so much quicker and quieter, build quality is also fantastic to! I'm quite jealous of it! Got the whole keyless entry and the push button start! More gadgets than mine :(

Still she can't keep up with my 2 litre with her 1.6….and it cost her 21 grand!

Anyway, on the subject! Her car does the auto lock thing, when you get to around 5mph, I know this is not a new thing at all but I really like it! Does anyone know of a mod or anything that can be added to get this feature? You would have thought Pug could have added it to the firmware of the car?

I know you can get alarms which add this feature, but I was looking for something simple!

Any ideas? :D

My last three cars (Subaru Impreza with Clifford alarm, Merc CLK and TVR Cerbera) have all done this. Personally I'm not keen on it. If you have a crash apparently it will disengage the locks, but I'm not so sure...

on my 307cc the boot is meant to lock above 10kph 6mph but even muted radio volume and not heard evidence of this - I disabled the boot release button and use the remote to open instead

The MG ZR I have has the auto locking but the doors stay locked after you stop so you need to press a button on the dash to get back out.

Between the noise it makes activating and the fact that it's there seriously p****s me off.
