Hi all
I've stumbled across the forum looking for a little help which hopefully somebody can help me with.
I've just come back home and the brakes didn't feel normal although the brakes were still working. I put the car back in the garage and took the keys out and kept pressing the brakes. I heard what sounded like air coming from the front passenger well and as i kept pushing the brakes they seemed to go solid and couldn't be pressed down anymore.
A minute later i went back in a put the engine on and the breaks seemed to be ok, however i didn't keep pressing them.
Has anybody come across this or know what i sould do?
Oh any it's a 206 GTi 180.

When the engine is off after 3 or 4 presses all brakes go solid and stop working ... Servo is not taking any power from engine! When you restart engine it goes back to normal...So don't worry its something usual!!
Thank God Its Friday...

I had all manner of problems getting the car in all honestly and if i didn't work for the company it would have been a complete nightmare.
I ordered it in August 2004 and it came out in September but i didn't get the car until mid November. The car itself is amazing and apart from this brake query the only problem i had was an Anti-Pollution Fault which was a little bit of a problem but it all got sorted out. I decided on Onxy black and got the sports grills which really rounds the car off nicely.
Good drive but the car drinks petrol like water, that could be the way i drive it but i'm not a complete idiot and don't rag the cack out of it.
I'd recommend getting one for sure. Silly work plug (although the deal should be doing it) but there are some good finance deals and there at one point was a 0% one.
