Auto Headlights dont turn off is this right????

Hi help needed!!!
Just got her indoors a 206cc 2Ltr, The auto lights turn on ok but when you turn engine off and lock door they stay on!! Is this the norm? I have founf that I have to turn lightd on to manual to turn them off. any help or advise would be good.

You will probably find that they will turn off after 30 seconds.

"Follow me home headlights"

It is quite normal, but I used to wait for them to turn off. Now I've had the software upgrade, they work slightly different.

Depending on the software updateor perhaps the mood of the monkey... they either stay on for 30 secs or if you flash them once they will stay on for 30 secs (after the engine is switched off)

I prefared them to stay on although it was getting a little tedious people telling me id left my lights on!

I just tell them they are automatic .... then get accused of having a posh car ... heh.
