Thanks to the power of this forum and great networking with Peugeot Norway (thanks Bergen), I have received the following advice from Peugeot Australia (edited to remove names);
"Thanks again for the document from Norway, and I am pleased to inform you that Peugeot France are in the process of sending us their official bulletin on the matter.
Once we have this, which may take a few weeks, we will send the bulletin to our Dealers. I have spoken to (your dealer), and once (they) have the information (they)will call you to discuss the next course of action, which will be to perform the procedures as directed by Automobiles Peugeot."
Any Aussies out there with the problem, touch base with your dealers and make them aware that there's a bulletin on the way. Any problems - just drop me a line.
Cheers

I just dropped my CC off this morning to have the passenger side door latch replaced to rectify the fact that the door will come 'unlatched' every now and again. I am also getting my windows rattle fixed 'hopefully'.
One thing they did ask me (again) unprompted was about leaks. I said that I don't appear to have any (at the moment) but it was nice to be asked.
Considering most of the service guys at my dealership (here in South Australia) have worked there for over 20 years I have a fair amont of confidence that they aren't monkeys. Oh yeh and all the master technician plaques on the walls help too!
Kirk.

you won't know it kirk but there is a peugeot dealer in edinburgh, scotland called belmont peugeot.
their walls are covered in plaques with master technician awards and gold dealer awards but being honest they must be a breeding ground for monkeys.
my point being that awards don't always mean much
derek
p.s. they probably do at your dealer due to their service but not everywhere is the same.

Just got it in yesterday's post Rob - very interesting. One thing I want to ask is whether you know the VN no's applicable to the information. The document sites VM no's - it would be great to get this information.
Thanks mate for sharing the information. I'll be reading it in detail this weekend and coming back with some questions. I know it will be most hopeful in supporting other Aussie owners if needed. I must say I'm thrilled at the acknowledgement of the leak problem and better still that our efforts here have moved it forward. Bergen really did a wonderful job in helping me, and my goodness the service I got from her dealer was silver plated.
Will get back to you soon with a few more questions.
Also, can we get an honorary post of some Puma pics? We don't have the Puma here and I'd love to see some pictures. Either post them here or send me some.
Cheers for now
