hi there everyone,

im from portugal and i have a peugeot 206cc 1.6 Roland Garros.

my question is...does the 206 gti 1.6 has the same dyno map as my car? from the dealer's page i can see that the gti's performances are a lot better then my car's! even the consumption of the gti is a less more than mine's!

so my questions is if there is any reasonnable explanation for this situation.

Maybe the camshaft is different or the dyno map is different or...i dont know!

if anyone could help me with this i'd appreciate that

thanks ;)

the uk doesnt do a 1.6 16v 206 gti. our closest equivalent is a 1.6 16v xsi. hovever i think youll find the reason why your cc is slower & uses more fuel than the 1.6gti is due to the fact a cc weighs more than a normal 206 because of the extra steel needed to strengthen the car & make it more rigid

i already thought of that but can 120 kg more than the normal 206 be the responsible for a 'gain' in aprox 1l/100km in urban comsomption and for th 11,3 sec to 9,6 sec in 0-100km/h?

i know the difference is not much but, well, it makes a difference!

oh well, i guess i just have to live with that!

thanks m8 ;)
