I presume you think they are painted or sprayed, The photo doesn't do it justice. These are not painted or sprayed they are coated in a fabric material that stops glare from the plastic dash going on to the windscreen. If you look inside any proper professional / works rally car you will see that the complete dash has been ' Flocked '. The best way to describe the flock material is that it is a 2mm long fibre strand which is used in great quantities to cover the dash. Pictures of our Mitsubishi ' flocked ' dash below.

i did think it was fabric - doesn't look like paint - the dash looks like it's wearing a woolly jumper

If you run your hands over the dash it feels like a crew cut.

i guess it would look better if the whole dash was done (if you like that sort of thing) such as in the pics above but do be on it's own looks very odd and pointless.

imo

Flocking your dashboard - thats something Changing Rooms would do to it :rotfl:

Do you do it in purple or pink ;)

that is exactly what I was thinking

I have to say it does seem a bit pointless to make a hairy centre bit when its the whole dashboard that reflects against the screen (unless you use a matt finish polish)
As for £70.00 I reckon that is a total non starter, if I had to replace the thing for a really good reason (like it was damaged by a stilletto heel or something) I could just go to a breakers and get one for a tenner!

Maybe we could get someone to make one with a beer bottle holder built into it? Or a bottle opener, maybe someone could make a @uck off aerial to put on the boot lid like the new renault ?

What other really pointless bits could we get made for our 206CC's???

I'd buy one...if the rest of my dash was coverd in "fuzzy felt"....but I DO have a few good ideas for dash upgrades for the 206..

i'd like...a modified panel at the top of my dash (where the clock sits) with a space to fit in a DVD screen

id like... a pair of panels to replace the back arm rests, so i can put in 6x9's

thats it just now, if sucha thing exist...gimme a shout
