Hiya all,
I'm seriously considering (well have pretty much decided) to get a new 206cc. I love convertibles and it just looks to be the most practical in my price range.
I'm interested in opinions/comments on the colours, I am leaning towards moonstone.
Also, I'm getting an auto (I've previously driven manuals but for the driving I do, auto is better) and I'm curious to know anything about who else has them, is it 50/50 manual/auto or are the autos few and far between?
Any other comments, good or otherwise? I am aware that the cars dont have a perfect reliability repuatation, and thats ok, but comments are still welome about problems you've had, or how much you love your car.
Hope to meet you all soon at a drive day in my new baby,
Lise.

Welcome, in advance, to the world of CC's Ms_Lise and congratulations on your choice of car. If you do proceed to purchase it, i am sure you will be more than happy with it.

Mine is an auto and when the Sydney CC'ers get together, the manuals outnumber the couple of auto's in the group ........... but hey, as your auto will be a tiptronic, i am sure it will be just as much fun.

As for the colour of your CC, its always the choice of the individual. But all the colours of the CC range look great.

I am sure that if you read through some of the threads on this site, you will read about some issues of reliability etc ...... but you will also read about the good experiences. I have had my CC for 2.5 years now .... and i love it !!

So, hurry up and buy your CC and join us on one of our drives

Cheers,
Mathew

Hi Lise,

Get the car and get it quick ! You're missing out right now.

I've had my car for 11 months. I've done about 27,000kms, including a trip to Melbourne and back and couldn't be happier.

And yes, I'm still fascinated by the car. I generally average 31km/h around Sydney with our wonderful traffic jams - so, I guess I've spent around 870 hours in the car in the last year - roughly 1/10 of the year in total.
Cheers,
Michael

Thanks MR2SLY and boyracer, I know I will love the car, and thursday will be the day (assuming I can negotiate the deal I want!!) I know peugeot australia has stock of the car I want so all going well, I'll hopefully have it in a couple of weeks.
Anyone recommend a dealer in sydney for sales or service? Do you guys service your car at peugeot, or a local mechanic?

I guess each Sydney CC'er has their own story to tell when it comes to sales and servicing ....... but i do know that a few of us purchased our CC's from Asquith & Johnstone (Parramatta). With some sales on at the moment, i guess its a good time to be a new car buyer ....... so as there aint that many Peugeot dealers in Sydney, i am sure you could shop around for a favourable price.

As for servicing, i think most of us get ours serviced by Peugeot ....... but at all various Peugeot dealers. I get mine serviced at Asquith & Johnstone and i am sure that the others can pass on where they get their CC serviced and their experiences.

Good luck on Thursday ..... and keep us posted with the news !!
