my old 206CC was up for sale at the dealer i sold it to at £11k which wasn't bad considering the car i got in it's place cost £9800 with a list price of around £11.4k.

imagine my happiness today when i noticed they have dropped the price to £10k as it hasn't sold after 4 weeks. taking into account i also got free insurance with a value of £900 as i'm starting a 2nd policy i'm pretty happy now :D

It's OK for you not being a CC owner anymore.

Bit of a worry for CC owners if the prices are dropping.

Helll who cares I bought it for the car. Roll on summer 8)

Well I'm guessing its because no-one tends to buy a convertible in Winter. If you traded it in the summer I but the price would have been higher.

I don't care either as I can't wait for the warmer weather!

the seasonal variance on price is virtually non existent due to it being a hard top as well.

i was looking at a 307CC back in may 2004 and the average price being offered as a trade in wasn't much more and that was with 9k less miles on the clock.

in place of the CC i got a car that was pre-registered with 7 miles with a list price of £11.4k and free insurance worth £900. the MG ZR also has better residiual values against a 206/307 which i was also looking at.

I was surprised at the residuals of the MG considering it's Rover cousins aren't very strong in this area.
Autocar says the CC keeps about 59% after 3 years with the other 206 models very similar to the MG ZR at 48-49% for most models. GTi's keep 50%!! ZR 160's keep 46%!
