Thanks!

I got here yesterday after a pretty uneventful flight and I'm in the new office today. It's now chucking down with rain and at the same temp as the UK... looks like I brought it with me!

I'll be hanging around the forum for some time to come so don't wave me goodbye quite yet! Peugeots don't really exist around here, but 350Zs do... at 10000UKP cheaper than the UK! (and no I can't find the pound sign on this keyboard!)

i read in auto express recently where a reader was complaining about the Z being £10k (we have £ signs on uk keyboards :D ) cheaper in the USA and he wouldn't buy one for that reason.

nissan uk tried to defend themselves by saying that there were many differences due to the car needing to be set up for the uk roads etc...

still trying to work out why that would cost £10k :D

 all cars in US are cheaper. It is fair to point out though that the US Zs are fairly different from the Uk versions. Plastics, specs (in US they have about 7 different models to choose, the base one has not got MANY MANY features that a base model has got here, starting from brembo brakes, aero package, cheaper interior trim, I think they havent even got the LSD, anyway many many differences). If you ask me, it's a great idea to sell a very basic car for 26K dollars so that modders can do whatever they want to it and upgrade most of the car without losing to much money.

I think it's one of the reasons why the Z is the best selling sportscar in the US.
