Hi guys

Just got a call from Alec Mildren's Service telling my the noise that I've been hearing from the floor of the passenger side whenever I step on the brake is actually a sign the brake booster has problems!! I've been advised not to drive the car till it's replaced.

PROBLEM is - they don't think there's a replacement part in Australia! Est time to get one from France is 2 weeks!

I will know tomorrow if that is the car. No car to go home tonight, or to get back to work tomorrow. Hopefully they'll know tomorrow and then decide if Peugeot will give me a car while I wait for the part.

Os

Apparently this part does not fail that often, hence Peugeot doesn't keep stock of it.

I'm now driving an Avis Corolla for a week at Peugeot's expense!

So Matt, I would like to go the AF drive day tomorrow, even just at the start, but I don't think so. Hopefully I'll get my car back before our X'mas gathering.

It's good for the car it gets a week off. I'm already on 52.5k km!!!!

Hey Lyndon

How's the new car? So sad to hear about the end of your CC ownership!

Tell me about it, 10 days for a spare parts. Oh well, my car deserves some rest!
