Hi all.

I went to Available Car yesterday & had great fun testing out all the cars I'm interested in - I was shocked that out of the MR2, MX5 MGTF & 206cc I went to look at that the cc was my clear favourite. I was just wondering if anyone's had any problems with the levers to move the seats around, they seemed a bit flimsy to me - anyone snapped their knobs off? ;)

Answers on a postcard!!!

Dan.

no problems on mine, the MG ZR doesn't have height adjustment and it feels like i'm sitting on the top of a sky scraper

I've had no problems on my 52 plate either though sometimes the passenger seat doesn't lock when you move it forward or backward which can be very dangerous.

I had trouble with the passenger seat not locking into place (turned out to be a dodgy seat runner).

No problem with my knob though - it never came off in my hand :? ;)

Same issue withe the passenger seat runners slipping backwards and forwards.

My knob once came off in someones hand, but that was in a triumph Herald.

I got my car last week. and I noticed this was a problem, and seems to be quite common! is there anything that can be done to fix it? the back of my seat is reclined right back all the time!!
