Has anyone seen the Citroen C4 VTS. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but after seeing it on Top gear the other night I was very impressed. Not sure I would have it in place of my CC though. The car I had previously to my CC was a Xsara VTS. Which I brought just to keep me going until the cc came out. It had grunty performance and looking back it was a great car for the money.

Anyway I have been following the C4’s release with some interest and have found in two magazines that Citroen will be releasing a super hot 225bhp C4 in 2005/06. We all know that Citroen and Peugeot use the same engines and so this got me thinking will Peugeot be making a 307 CC with 225bhp? Now that really could have me saving for a new car.

don't expect pug to churn out performance cars - they seem to be heading for the boring family car route :(

I agree with Derek, after owning a 205 GTi and a 306GTi I am currently dissapointed there is no current replacement the 206 Gti180 just doen't cut it with the current competition. I loved the prototype "Ace of " cars they showed a while back but they seem to be lost in the mist of time. Peugeot are now content with family wagons, and are even making the 107 a Hyundai Atoz style car with side sliding doors

have you seen the cost of extras - e.g. £600 for metallic paint

i was thinking of one a few months ago but you are probably talking about another £3k minimum on the price just to give it reasonable spec.

the waiting list was also 18 months - not sure what it is now....

Waiting list for SLK now down to 1 Year.

Just put down a deposit.

Looking at £30K+ for a 200 with decent spec
