The car is too long! especially from the 3/4 panel onwards - that's a very long tail to accomodate the roof.

lol cool! its like something out of short circuit or even robot wars :)

Its still a Vauxhall though, i would only buy it to play with the roof all day and then again i wonder how long it would last with all those leak points ... hehe

had a look at the full article today in auto express and it looks ok, but not good enough to sway me from the 307CC.

the roof is quite clever and folds in 3 parts instead of 2 and the design also means that boot space stays the same no matter if the roof is up or down.

the Astra CC will have more boot space than the Pugs. This roof is a derivative of a design pioneered by Ford who lost their bottle and sold it to VW.

Looks like Vauxhall now have a half way house on the roof as the original Ford one had about 5 panels that all folded in a concertina like manner.
