Rob,

I took the car in today for it's 1st service. The mechanic took one look at the trim and said it had warped in the sun, so I gave him the advice you gave me to how it fix it. I was not aware that we have had such a heat wave since October. He stripped out the rear seats, half an hour later and three peugeot monkeys, he gave me back the keys and said they will have to order the parts as it it definately warped. I pointed out that this was going to cost peugeot alot of money if i were to bring it back every six months for a new trim. So now I am no better off, they even wanted to charge me for the service as they couldn't find it on their computer. I have changed the plates and it still shows on Peugeots computers with the old plate.

Sara,

I am assuming yo mean the bits of trim behind the rear seats that have rubber on them and they curl up.

If this is the case then they truly are monkeys. I will show you on Sunday how it takes 30 seconds to remove and refit them if you like.

As for them trying to charge you, this can be common when you have a 'private' plate. Tell the fools to check using the VIN/chasis number. That info is carried for every car.

See you tomorrow

Rob,

I think you need to get a job with Peugeot, you could name your price. It took them one and a half hours to tell me it was warped.

Thanks for your help, I guess i better put on my overall tomorrow.

Thanks again, see you tomorrow.
