After 3 years of "interesting" ownership my company cc (black 2.0 SE) has finally gone back.

A little sad to see it go at the end but my local dealer must be happy because they can now release the fortnightly space on their service calendar that I am sure they must have booked in for me!

The car was set on fire in the first week I had it and it pretty much went downhill from there:

Faulty Aircon screen
Replacement carpet
Replacement passenger seat
Replacement ECU
Leaks Leaks and more Leaks (gave up getting them looked at in the end)
Engine cover needed padding about 4 times
Automatic electric window problem (5 visits to fix)
2 manifolds
1 rear box (had to be taken back and adjusted twice)
1 full exhaust system
Misaligned drivers door and bonnet
Engine cutting out
Squeaky brakes (2 visits to convince them to change the pads)
One of the white brackets on the underside of the boot lid broke
Parcel shelf string thingy in boot snapped (5 months to get a replacement)
Roof stuck (only once) - would not move up or down
Replacement hinge pin for driver's door

I am sure there were other things that escape my memory now, but hey ho it was one of the early, pre multiplex cars and it was always fixed (eventually) at someone else's expense.

To be fair though, when it worked, I did enjoy driving it and had the roof down as often as possible.

Good luck to everyone....enjoy!

Managed to get an MGTF AND a Corsa for about £15 /month more than I pay now - its a lease scheme to which the company contributes and we pay the extra. They are both on special offer and so I get to choose again in 12 months time - may see how the 307cc is getting on then.

Keep up the good work Lyndon.
