Roof finally gone

After a year and a half of owning my car the roof has finally decided to stop working.

Had the roof down then up again and then down again and on the 3rd time the roof simply refused to go back up and the thing just beeped at me whenever I pressed the button.

Luckily I had two of my mates help me do the roof up manually but what a carry on!

Trip the dealers I guess.

fraid so m8 as they need to reset it to get it back to working order

more than likely a dodgy microswitch, like mine was 10 days AFTER i got car but has worked like a dream for nearly 3 1/2 years

(not including the oil leak that was fixed in the end

)

Its booked in for Thursday. Lets hope the fix is quick.

The rear heated windscreen doesn't work anymore and is there anyway to stop the infernal beeping sound everytime I go over 10 mph???

reap is the man to ask about the beep but again i think it's dealer reset thing

Roof working again now thanks to Richard Hardie in Sunderland!

Don't know what caused the problem to the roof but its working again so I'm happy.

Also got my 2 year service carried out on the car. The only problem is they didn't fix the passenger door window as it catches on the roof and won't shut properly and they didn't stamp my service record.

Car going back in on Wednesday
