I installed a HID conversion kit a few days ago. It draws the same power from the car. But when i turn the headlights on now. Sometimes all my components report a fault. ABS fault, brake fault, airbag fault. Anyone had similar issues who can give me some resolutions?

I didnt install any HID conversion kit but I had EXACTLY the same problem, plus more! After a few times of returning it to the dealer for repair, they eventually replaced the whole BSI unit! All problem resolved :)

However, if that is the only problem you have, I dont think the BSI unit need to be replaced, apparently you/whoever can fix some internal wiring - dont know how the dealer did it. I am no mechanic but it may be something to do with due to few signals are running on the same piece of wire which caused confusion to the computer (BSI), thats what the dealer told me. I/they could be totally talking rubbish!

the signals are running on 2 cables .
data and data bar wires, the signal is carried around the car on a bus. :D
you will have to have your headlamps reconfiugered from double reflector to what ever you have now on the bsi.main dealer can do this for you. :D

I think you had to upgrade your wiring system. I have faced the same problem. Although it is an older post :(
