I took my car into the dealer last friday because the near side front brakes have a groove in them about 3mm deep / 3mm wide. The car pulls when braking, and also the tyre is scrubbing really badly. The dealer has told me even though the new brakes have only done a few thousand miles, that this is normal wear, and even thogh the other side is 10 times better that is normal too even though they were all replaced at the same time, they have put the tyre wear down to my bad driving and kerbing everything in sight!.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so what is it?
