Hi,

Can anyone recommend 17inch tyres other than Goodyear Eagle F1's. I have these at the moment on my CC but I'm looking to change them. Can anyone recommend another tyre and whether they are soft or hard compound and the durability of the tyres. I am currently thinking of Toyo Proxies T1-S

Check out www.mytyres.co.uk for excellent tyre prices delivered straight to your door.

Thanks!

Eagle F1s and Toyo Proxes are the two main contenders as you say. There are undoubtedly others but these two are the ones that are always mentioned.

I'd recommend sticking with F1's, although if cost is an issue then go for Toyos. I wouldn't go for anything else as they won't be as good.

Or consider Nankang NS2's.. Similar Pattern to F1's..

Yes they are "Budget" but they are very good in both wet and dry..

Are these tyres hardwearing?

I was getting 6Kish from the F1's.. 5K from Toyo's and about 7.5-8K from the Nankangs, and I drive hard!!

Nankang's get many bad reviews in relation to Wet Handling and that they don't offer much grip.

I've looked on www.mytyres.co.uk for 17" Toyo proxies which are no longer listed. Has anyone recently ordered these tyres from this webco.
