I picked up my new windstop on Monday and have to say y'all better get one too !
The level of backdraft has diminshed to practically nothing. Before the windstop, when I was on the phone, people I was talking to always knew I had the roof down cos of the wind noise. Now, they can't even tell except when I'm in a tunnel.
My primary reason for getting it was to extend that part of the year in which I could drive with the roof down seeing as I figured the cold backdraft during winter would be unbearable (I'd been reading all those posts in the UK about how they were just now putting the roof down for the first time in ages). Anyway, the windstop works a treat. I highly recommend getting one.
So, despite the exhorbitant cost of these things, I was able to convince myself :-) that it increased the use I was getting out of my car and was therefore a very good thing. Same as the Pugmatic. Works a treat - wouldn't want to be without it now !
God, I would've made a bloody good salesman, I reckon !

They basically cover the entire backseat area, it folds down for when you have the roof up. It is also good from a security perspective as stuff on the back seat is less visible. They are dead easy to fit, just a couple of rods that slide into the holes that are there for them in the back.
Cheers

Windstop is great.
Wouldn't go without one now. I picked up a 2nd hand one locally from a CC owner who sold the car to get a Audi TT and therefore sold me the Windstop for £120 (bargain!)
Easy to fit and remove whenever required. Will fit in the boot no problem.
Is expensive new but get a discount and you'll think how did you manage to get on without one!

I went out last night, drove home around 4am this morning with the roof down. According to the car, it was 14 degrees. I had the windows up, the heater on (set to about 22 degrees, with the fan around half strength) and the windstop really came into its own. I was only wearing a short sleeved tee shirt - there was no need for a jumper.
Gotta be happy with that !

WIMP - when I had my CC I regularly used to drive it with the roof down in a t-shirt with no heater and below zero. The lowest I went was minus 8 - lol do you know what minus 8 is evenI went out last night, drove home around 4am this morning with the roof down. According to the car, it was 14 degrees.
