Was lovely sat out with our patio heater. They are tricky to get going the first time. I just had to keep trying it.

Does anyone know how long the 13kg bottles should last cos' I seem to be going thru them quickly?

and here's the proof :D they wouldn't let me video the signing ?!?!?!?!?! so i had to use the low quailty digital camera function of me digital camcorder, hence the small size, had to fiddle with it in paint shop pro and resize it even smaller :(.

The good news...it's been sunny(ish) in these parts today..so a few miles clocked up with the roof down... :)

The bad news...I've found a couple of faults with the car...the oil light thingy flashes when I start up...but has settled down (reading the forum stuff its probably coz my driveway is on an angle?)...and squealing brakes...did I read on here copper grease or something to sort it...?

Oh...and can get wind stopper and hoops from Germany..is this gonna be OK for UK cars...? I'm guessing so..but if anyone's had experience of buying stuff for their cc over there, would appreciate your advice.

Thanks,
Ali G

Lyndon, nice pics. I guess yo don't know I sold my merc last winter, gave me a few too many scares in the wet. I'm cabless until my new Audi order reaches me in July :(

Julia,

be careful, I would have thought your back had settled down now a certain person is abroad. ;)

Bif,

Asuming your using a 13-15KW patio gas heater those 13Kg gas bottles should last you at least 5+ evening barbeques, say running 5 hours at a time, if not, check gas isn't leaking from hose connection to your regulator and try disconnecting the regulator from the gas bottle each time when your finished in case your getting a slight gas seepage when the appliance has been turned off. Or you might not be getting full bottles from your gas outlet.

Robbie.
