Wrong! well sort of anyway- none of the speed pulse wires are analogue, they are digital. unless they are doing something diffferent on the 2004 models, the 2003 does have a digital speed pulse wire which is located inside the fuse box that sits directly on the right hand side of the battery box, inside this box there are 3 large 16 pin connectors as well as some scattered fuses, the left hand side one is black, the middle one is silver and the right hand side one is green, the speed pulse wire is located on the far left connector (black one) and it is the second wire up from the bottom left hand side of this connector (it is acutally in the third hole from the bottom left as there is a blue wire in the bottom left, then above this is an empty hole then the yellow speed pulse wire and then a red wire above this. Some 2003+ models of the 206 are now CANBUS, so therefore don't have an analogue speed pulse anymore.

before you go hacking any wires the best way to test this is to get a multimeter and connect the v+ connection to a 12 volt source and the neutral to the yellow wire mentioned above (this speed pulse wire gives a ground pulse as 1 and is open for 0), then drive the car slowly then you should see the meter indicate a digital pulse in reference to the car speed.
I tried taking some pics but can't locate my cameras interface cable right now.
