Picked up the 206CC last week from a dealer and it only had one key fob with alarm............. Dealer said he would get another, and I should pop in and they would program the key. All went well

Just noticed the second key has no alarm fob button. Is this correct?

Cheers

When I had mine Jan '02 it had 2 keys with the lock button unlock buttons on both so I would go back and check unless it has changed since.

Got two with my Mar 03 206cc 2.0. The brochure for the 206cc says "deadlocks with twin plip keys" on all models whereas the brochure for the standard 206 shows that only the higher end models have this.

Similarly the 307cc has two but the 307 clearly shows the low end model only has one plippy.

Back to the dealer ... print the brochure page!

at the end of the day the key wothout the button will not unlock the car without setting the alarm off (anyone who has ever had a battery go and used their key in the lock instead of using the button will know this)

That is why the 'higher end' models have two keys - they are the ones with the alarm!

The dealer has said that a Y Reg (2001) 206CC SE came with one key with alarm fob and one without, there they will not supply me the second alarm fob key :(

They say this changed later on newer models

Does anyone have an old brochure dated , that confirm 2 fobs with alarm

Thank
