Hi All
I posted a message a month ago saying that my car had been to monkeys and they had told me at 8500 miles that my car needed new rear brakes and discs. i found this hard to believe as normally at this mileage you don't even get through a set of pads.
I had them independantly checked this weekend and have been given a report which states that they are still practically brand new and nothing wrong with them at all and are no where near having to be replaced. They showed me themselves, would like to know where the really bad grooves in my discs dissapeared to, beacause they're not there now!
I plan to attack the Peugeot dealer (maybe not phyically, just verbally) and take it to Peugeot Head Office.
Anyone else had anything like this?
Also on the subject of brakes, have had new front pads fitted (non sqeak type)under warranty but they are now sqeaking, was told all they could do now was put a treatment on that would only last a month and i would have to pay?
All help appreciated before i go into attack mode
I may be blonde....but i'm not that stupid!!!!!!!
Best way to attack Peugeot

Trading Standards would be worth contacting before you go ahead with amything else.
Do you have any written proof that they said you needed new disks, like a written quotation? Without this you may have problems proving that they did anything wrong. However, get them worried anyway. That magic word "Watchdog" often does the trick
Good luck!
