Hi all,
Just collected my new 206cc today (1.6) :D - got leather upholstery at 60% off because the garage mucked up my order. Also got 206cc keyring (thanks to previous posts on this site) along with compilation CD, umbrella and discount on first service. Does the engine need breaking in
as the manual says nothing about this ?

Thanks

Otto.
:D

no need to break the engine in but take it easy for the first 1k miles to be on the safe side.

Welcome!

Keep the roof up or you might get wet (Bl*ody English weather)

I was told today that if you drive over 60mph with the roof down, you don't get wet!? But if ya stop (under 60mph init) ya will get wet.

Hi all,
Thanks for the welcomes and advice. I live in Ireland btw, so maybe
only one or two days in the year when I can take the roof down!
I hopped in to the back today to check the legroom - I'm not tall so
it seemed feasible to carry a passenger in the rear with the driver's seat
adjusted. Does anybody carry passengers regularly ?

Cheers

Otto

 Hiya

I don't carry passengers regularly, but when I have, they've had to sit sideways, with legs up! I find it can be quite beneficial to not really have decent back seats - ie. not being able to take a carful of drunks home when you are stone cold sober, etc... :!:

Oh and BTW - I went roofless today :P

ps. Are you serious about an umbrella (a 206CC one?)- or are you getting prepared in case you have a leak after reading this forum?
