Hi all, hope you are well.

I'm afetr a bit of advice really, I need to sort out some ICE in my CC but I'm not sure how to go about it. I still want to be able to use the stalk and the screen display on the dash. I know I can buy that adapter thingy for the stalk but do any of the Head units support the screen as well? I've got a JBL amp and sub out of my old car that should be fine, can you also recommend any good head units.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

The display's almost certainly not going to work. Some interfaces go as far as putting a "Hello" message up when you switch on, but AFAIK there's nothing that will put the current station/track up there.

Sony have adapters for the stalk control and the display, but Sony headunits aren't known for their good sound quality.

If you're looking for good quality then you'll have to ditch the display and probably stalk control. However, if you're looking for more functionality than the existing Clarion CD then you'll probably want to go for Sony.[/list]

I got a sony hu and adapter, both Display and stalk work great, as for sound quality i dont really know how to judge it, but it sure is a lot louder then the standard unit.

(mp3 ID3 tag wont show CC's display, if buying oversea check radio frequency range, in AU - USA deck is compatible, but JAP deck wrong frequency, i have no idea what UK use?)
