Well, just picked up my car, after waiting an hour in Hilton Garage because they had to send for a new alternator apparently!! But it got sorted, but........driving home, realised no power to stereo CD player, so I turned around and went back to Hilton. Blown fuse :( tried a new fuse, worked, but another problem, we cant input the code cos the digits only go up to 6 and theres a 9 in mine which no one could figure out how to do. So now Im musicless until tomorrow night :(
At least my roof works ok....(TOUCH WOOD) and Im well pleased with my 51 reg 206cc 2.0 SE. Just miffed about the lack of the MPG readout that seems to only appear on the 52 and above plates.

PS: Hilton Garage WILL be giving me some free petrol for the trips back and forth to them LOL

Mine's a 51 - Dec 2001. Mulitplex (ie with computer) was introduced October 2001 (I think?) so you could have one registered Sept/Oct 2001. There's an easy way to tell - is the big red hazard button in the middle of the dash just one button or split into 2 (hazards and door lock)? If it's split, then you have multiplex and just keep pressing the button on the end of the wiper stalk to change the display :)

No, its just hazard :( :( Ah well, cant have everything. I am happy with it though, silver with black and orange interior, and the orange just gives it a little character I thought, which is what drew my eye to it. Just got to work out what the little rattle is in the boot now. LOL

Orange interior? Is it leather?

Hi Phonic,

Hope all gets sorted soon with the car, it'll all be worth it come summer! But as for the Radio might be better leaving it off, mine keeps having a love affair with Radio 2 no matter how many times I re-tune!

Theres a few of us in the Derby Notts area so if you see any give us a flash!!!! ;)
