Passenger window

Odd one this, took my grandma out today (being the nice girl I am!!) and have been noticing the 3 triple beeps (same as when you try and put the roof down without the thingie across) they have been coming on when I start the car, totally foxed me as I have checked things and nothing obvious wrong.

Anyhow I went round to help her get out of the car and noticed the window is getting stuck on the seal when I close the door. I had to push it in so its sits flush where it should be, otherwise it leaves quite a big gap.

Tried opening and closing the door several times and it does this about 50% of the time. Funnily enough the warning beeps are from this even though the door open alarm does not sound.

Anyone else had this? Does it look like I'm needing another new set of seals?

i have found in the past to NOT shut your door with you hand still on the doorhandle as this can lift the door slighty so it catches on the seal

or you could apply a silicon spray to the seals to make them more supple, please do a search on this forum

Strange, but I had that little warning, only once the other day whilst driving. I ignored it as I thought it was just having a funny minute.

But, on Christmas Eve, I was driving home and thought I had a lot of 'wind noise' from my driver's door so I pulled over and checked it, thinking that some nasty piece of work had tried to wrench the door open whilst parked, but it was fine

. I drove home, parked it up, and when I checked the next day it was fine and has been since (I am frantically touching wood!!!)
