Hi all.

I have the standard fitted Clarion CD changer. If I change the head unit, what are the chances of the changer not working with whatever I buy? In otherwords, when I change headunit, will I have to buy a new changer to go with it?

 nooper, changer wont work with other head unit, not even an after market Clarion Head Unit. I know OEM head unit has converter cable to use other changers but never heard of Other head unit converter to use OEM changer, sorry to give the bad news... hopefully someone here know of any converter cables

dammit.

Oh well, i suppose at least its a good excuse to upgrade to a 10 disc changer or possibly even a music keg. Would look nice and fancy with the amps and subs in the boot.

As toot says, I doubt you'l be able to use the CD changer anywhere else. However, they do sell well on e-bay/forums so it will offset the cost of a new changer :)
