Right its about time we caravaners had a thread of our own.

Ist caravan, a little 2 berth Lunar 1984 I called "Linda" I bought for £1225 to see if I liked caravans- sold it for a profit 2 years later.

2nd and current is a 2003 23 foot double wheelbase touring "Hobby"

Advantages:

Watching tents blow away in gales through the window with a cup of coffee in your hand.

Barbecues most nights with new friends.

Having a wood panelled back bedroom and comfortable bed I don't have to fold away.

That camping feeling but only more civilized.

Disadvantages:

Not being able to tour - the bleeding things too long to feel safe towing.

Well - thats about it :D
