I am looking for a car alarm system as the local Peugeot (in Malaysia) does not supply one. My 206CC is equiped only with immobliser. I am looking at brands like Clifford systems, Cobra and etc.

Anyone has install 3rd party alarm system ?

Yup, I've got a clifford Concept 500 and think it's great :D

The only thing to watch out for is to tell them if your car is multiplexed (with split locking/hazard lights button in the middle of the dashboard built after Oct/Nov 2001 I think) as it takes them longer to install (3 days compared to half, although they might have got the hang of it now!)

:| Hmmm... My car has a single hazard button (no split locking although it is a 2003 car), should be no problem for a clifford install. However does the installation of alarm affects the immobliser ?

Don't know! All I know is that the clifford has it's own immobiliser so maybe they bypass the Peugeot version completely or you have both? Sorry :o)
