Jeremy Clarkson did this test round a track in one of his videos
(Head to Head i think).

I thought the bike would be better but and i think it won the race but it was a very close race.

The car could corner quicker and i think it out braked it too.

On the road again the car might be able to corner better, even if the bike is capable of it, the rider may not be brave enough to use it's full potential.

Your question 'which is faster' can only be interpreted as top speed.

The fastest cars can end up faster then the fastest motorbike.

NOW -- if you want to ask about acceleration, fastest round a course, fastest braking, fastest to hotwire etc ... this is a different question altogether.
