I fancy changing the colour of my CC to purple, but it would have to be a metallic deep purple. Any ideas how much for a complete respray?

prices vary but bear in mind unless you want it to look crap then u need to get engine bay and other visible interior panels painted too - a big job.

look at £1500-£2000.

That sounds very resonable to me...I thought a complete respray would be more expensive...

going by pgacs post that seems an average price but at the end of the day you get what u pay for - there's no guarantee that will be a perfect job, depends on how good the bodyshop is.

If you want it done properly, then it is a complete strip down of the car to its individual parts. Not cheap........

And being such a big job, getting the cheapist price may not be the best option.

I couldnt get it done with the CC I have at the moment, its black with the black & red leather, and I think that colour leather would look awful in a purple car. Its just a thought. Who knows pug might bring out a purple before I get my next CC

Apparently this months maxy panda has a little article that says you should take the doors, windows etc off yourself to save a few hundred quid.

Dont think i would want ANY body shop stripping the cc down & putting it back together again - i mean, if the monkeys at peugeot cant do it then what chance does your average sprayshop have?
